The PlayPulseRC 124016 is a 1/12 brushless RC desert truck built for loose ground. A brushless motor pushes this metal chassis RC truck to a 75 km/h top speed, while four independent oil-filled shocks and zinc alloy gears take the hits of sand, dirt, and short grass. It arrives RTR with a 7.4V 2200mAh Li-Po battery, a 2.4GHz radio that lets several cars race at once, and a 100 m control range.

Charge the 7.4V 2200mAh Li-Po battery for about three hours with the USB charger, then seat it in the tray. Power on the truck, then the transmitter, and let the 2.4GHz link bind. Check steering trim, then ease the throttle in an open area. Run on dry sand, dirt, or short grass within 100 m. After each run, let the motor cool, brush sand off the chassis, and recharge only when the pack is cool.

FAQ

Q: How fast does the PlayPulseRC 124016 go?

A: Four independent overseas retailers list a 75 km/h top speed (about 46 mph) on the stock 7.4V 2200mAh Li-Po pack. Actual speed varies with surface, battery charge, and gearing.

Q: How long does it run, and how long does charging take?

A: About 8 minutes per pack. Charging takes roughly three hours over USB, so an extra battery pack is the smartest upgrade if you want back-to-back runs.

Q: Is this RC desert truck waterproof?

A: No waterproof rating is published for this model. Run it on dry sand, dirt, and short grass, and keep it away from deep puddles, rain, and salt water.

Q: Can it really handle sand and beach driving?

A: Yes. Sand is what the desert-truck body and wide stance are built for. Four independent oil-filled shocks and a metal chassis take the hits, and the zinc alloy gears resist wear from grit.

Q: Can several of these trucks run at the same time?

A: Yes. The 2.4GHz anti-interference radio lets multiple trucks run side by side without cross-talk, which makes it a good choice for family races.

Q: What skill level and age is it for?

A: With a 75 km/h brushless setup, we rate it Intermediate and recommend ages 15 and up. New drivers should start at low throttle in a wide open area and fit spare battery packs for longer sessions.
