Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

At PlayPulse RC, we strive to make your shopping experience as smooth and transparent as possible. Because our fulfillment centers are located in China, packages are shipped internationally to the United States. Here is everything you need to know about customs and import taxes.

1. Good News for US Customers (The $800 Rule)

Since we currently ship exclusively to the United States, our customers benefit from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) de minimis rule.

Under current US regulations, most individual packages with a declared value of under $800 USD are allowed to enter the country duty-free. Because the vast majority of our hobby-grade RC toys and parts fall well below this $800 threshold, most of our US customers will NOT have to pay any additional customs duties or import taxes upon delivery.

2. Tax Responsibility

While duties are extremely rare for our typical orders, it is legally required to state that the Consignee (Recipient) remains responsible for any potential import taxes, local state taxes, or customs fees that may occasionally be levied by US Customs. These fees (if any) are not calculated or collected by PlayPulse RC during checkout and would be payable directly to the carrier or customs authority upon delivery.

3. Customs Declaration & Legal Compliance

PlayPulse RC adheres strictly to international shipping laws.

• We are legally required to declare the actual purchase price of the items on the commercial invoice and shipping label.

• Please note: We cannot under-declare the product value or mark the package as a "gift" upon request, as this violates customs regulations.

4. Assistance with Customs Clearance

In the very rare event that your package is selected for a random customs inspection, it may cause a slight delay in your delivery. We are here to assist! We can provide the necessary shipping documents (such as a commercial invoice) to help YunExpress, 4PX, or local carriers expedite the clearance process.

If you receive any notification from the carrier requesting additional information, please respond to them promptly or contact us for support to avoid further delays.
